Changelog
New features, improvements and fixes in Minki and on this website.
Help guides and a simpler homepage
- Read nine Help guides in English and German, covering study sessions, decks, Anki imports, sharing, offline learning and account sync.
- Deck previews on the homepage now show just the cover, title and card count. A link near the top opens the library.
- See how streaks, learning progress, offline study, Anki imports and sharing work in the new illustrated feature sections.
- Read an introduction to Minki in the new English and German blog.
Clearer deck purchases
- Purchase screens show the price and explain that it is a one-time purchase before you confirm.
- Purchased decks are added to the learner profile you have selected. Other profiles on the same account can download them too.
- Unfinished purchases have their own section, with Restore purchases below.
Imported decks across devices and simpler reviews
- Imported decks now sync their images and audio along with the cards, so you can use the complete deck on another device.
- Rate your answers with Again, Good or Easy. The separate Hard rating has been removed.
- Your decks are sorted alphabetically by title. The selected deck stays selected after renaming it or reopening Minki.
- Browse library decks by topic, with language decks filtered to match the selected learner’s language.
Keep using Minki while it syncs
- Background sync no longer blocks the app’s controls while changes are being transferred.
- Account settings show your email address, one sync status and a Sync now button. A successful sync shows Synced even when there are no new changes.
App updates and sign-out fixes
- Installed browser apps now update correctly while keeping saved learner profiles, decks and learning progress.
- Fixed sign-out getting stuck after an interrupted account download.
Sign in with Apple or Google
- Apple and Google are now available alongside email and passkeys as sign-in options in the browser app.
