JPG, PNG, or WebP, up to 5 MB.

10 free photos once with an account · Your own notes, not textbook pages

How it works

  1. You photograph your own notes or a worksheet, not a textbook.
  2. Minki turns them into questions and answers. You can change or remove every card.
  3. Then you open the deck in Minki or download an Anki file.

What a photo costs

One photo costs one photo credit. An account includes 10 photos, once. Family adds 100 photos, also once. Later, a pack of 50 photos costs €2.99. Credits do not reset every month.

The deck stays with you. It is not added to the library.

Questions

What can I photograph?

Your own notes and worksheets. We do not copy textbook pages. If a matching deck is in the library, we point you to it.

Why do I need an account?

The 10 free photos belong to a verified account, once per email address. Family adds 100 photos, once. A pack of 50 photos costs €2.99, also once. Credits do not reset every month. The balance stays with you, including on another device.

What happens to the photo?

OpenAI processes the photo to create the cards. Minki does not store the photo. OpenAI may temporarily retain data for abuse monitoring. The cards stay on your account.

Can I open the cards in Anki?

Yes. Download for Anki saves a .apkg file. Open in Minki puts the same deck in the app.
